The Lopi Pattern Book number 40 contains various knitting patterns for sweaters, coats and shawls to be knitted using Icelandic wool. The patterns feature both traditional and modern Icelandic motifs.

In the LOPI pattern book no. 40, are the knitting instructions for 22 different designs for Einband, Alafoss-, Lett-, and Plötulopi. There are sweaters for women, men, and children. All of the patterns in this book have been designed by Védís Jónsdóttir, Iceland's most accomplished and best known knit designer.
